"You are the victims of your parents," the participants quoted their professors on the third Socrates cafe in Mostar on November 14th, 2019. The theme of Socrates cafe was "Patriotism vs. Nationalism."  Participants mentioned that nationalism is caused by indoctrination and manipulation of emotions, and in that context family has a big responsibility.

Cafe facilitator Lana Prlić, MSc in International Finance and Business, and participants questioned whether patriotism and nationalism are emotions and which of the them is deprived  of responsibility. In order to overcome nationalist attitudes, they say, it is necessary to open the mind. They are also aware of the fact that patriotism requires courage and a willingness to be rejected, because people are more forgiving to nationalists than to patriots.
